I don't want to criticze American teachers, but have you noticed that
many people nowadays don't know where capital letters belong?
Is this because students can use computers to write their essays,
and no long have to write longhand into a copy book, or because
people are reading less?
I find many people, in the States especially, put capital letters in
the

You look at movies of the forties, though, and they all write nice
longhand with
all the capital letters in the right places.
But nowadays - recent example: Morgan Freeman in the Bucket List - he
writes a list on camera and it's all cApiTal leTTerS in thE miDdle of
WorDs.
I get things I buy on Ebay from the USA with little notes, and it's
the same
thing, so it's not just actors.
I wish people would stop doing, it makes them look dumb.
