If girls go to a co-ed school do they opt out of sport at an earlier age
than if they went to a girls school. Is anything being done to address this
if in fact it is true?

My understanding of "girls opting out" is that they are exercising a
womans' right to choose.
Do you mean that they are being forced out of sport?
