State senators and let them know your concerns.

How to contact your local federal member

The House of Representatives is the lower house of the Parliament of
the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Prime Minister sits in the House of Representatives.
To find out who your local member visit the House of Representatives
website.

If you don't know who your local member is, you can find out by
visiting the Australian Electoral Commission website

Just fill in the details on the AEC page and it will tell you the name
of your federal electorate.
How to contact your state Senators

The Senate is the upper house of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of
Australia.
The Senate is sometimes called the 'States House' or the 'House of
Review'.
Each State has 12 senators, and each Territory has 2 senators.
