Latham endorses class discrimination
The Parliamentary Leader of the
Australian Labor Party Mr. Mark Latham which
promises to increase opportunities available
to individuals from less privileged backgrounds
has no problems with public schools engaging in
blatant class discrimination.
You see, after the following posting was made
an e-mail was send to his office in which he
was asked if his position was misrepresented,
his office has remained silent, thus,
endorsing the class discriminatory policies
of the Victorian Education public school system,
which makes one wonder what other discriminatory
policies has Labor for us.
It is interesting to know which school the children
of the local Parliamentary Representative
Mr. Lindsay Tanner are attending?
If his children are attending University High School
are they living in the areas that are covered by
the University High School?
Or the rules do not apply the members of the Labor Pary?

It is interesting to hear the new leader of
the Labor Party talking about the fact that
he was raised in the Housing Commission and
the so called opportunities created by Labor for him.
What Mr. Latham forgot to say is that most of
the so called opportunities available to him
were under previous Liberal Governments in
NSW and at the Commonwealth level.
Now, lets see, how keen is the current
Labor Government in Victoria to create the
same opportunities for children living in
Housing Commission here in Victoria:
Real case not some fictitious example:
A child's enrolment application to the
University High School and living in the
North Melbourne Housing Commission was
rejected on the basis that he lives "closer" to
Debney Park Secondary School, which is rubbish,
the child in question has been attending
Errol Street Primary School which is virtually
across the street from University High School
for the past seven years and his place of residence
is placed at equal distance from the above mentioned institutions.
However, University High School has no problems
accepting students living in the following areas:
South Bank, Essendon, Kensington, Flemington,
Flemington Banks, Epping, Hoopers Crossing
and so on, and I am not referring to
the accelerated program.
And the Bracks Government is quite comfortable with
this discriminatory policy, because when the office of
the Local representative in the State Parliament was contacted,
Hon. Bronwyn Pyke, it referred the issue
to the Regional Director of
Western Metropolitan Region of the
Department of Education and Training,
to the actual creature which put in place this
discriminatory policy and is currently
endorsed by the Labor Pary.
The minion in her office mentioned that there are
many students that living in public housing and
attend University High School, which is a Labor LIE,
you see, his best friend for the past seven years
whom is living across the street was accepted
without problems, the only difference is that his
friend is not living in public housing.
On the other hand Mr. Bracks can draw comfort from
the fact that the Stateline program on ABC will
always sing its praises, you see, the Stateline
on ABC was quick to point out the fact that the
Bracks Government financed an arts project in
derelict car parks around Collingwood, which
is saying a lot about Labor's attitude
towards the disadvantaged,
send them underground, out of sight out of mind.
So ladies and gentlemen, be aware of LABOR bullshit,
they will lie to you, they will say anything just to
get into office, they do create opportunities
for themselves ONLY.
