Can anyone recommend useful Interactive Numeracy and Literacy progs?? We
have some of the Numeracy ones from the DFES, they are o.k. and our LEA said
that they are very much work in progress.

For literacy software, please take a look through:
http://xavier.bangor.ac.uk
We've been writing programs for teachers working with dyslexic pupils
since 1987, and there may be some there that will be of interest to
you. Any queries, please do contact me,
best regards,

RapidReader has been shown to improve reading speed and comprehension for
dyslexics. Follow the link from www.thelearningmachine.co.uk by clicking
the RapidReader logo. Eligible for ELCs. Useful for whole class reading
using data projectors and Interactive White Boards etc.

Leon was involved with primary stuff IIRC. Then, I think, he went off
on a slightly tangental teaching role, to develop resources full time.
Leon, if you're lurking . . . drop a line.
